Emilia Bag 1623 is a large tote bag made from reclaimed advertising banner, with a quiet palette interrupted by fragments of red, grey and black.
One side is shaped through handwoven banner strips, creating a soft grid where the printed marks appear broken, layered and almost pixelated. The red details move through the pale surface like traces of an image that once belonged somewhere else. On the other side, the material opens into a smoother composition, revealing larger graphic gestures and the original memory of the banner.
